Inspiration Home for Underprivileged Boys
Started in 2007, Inspiration, a home for underprivileged young boys provides a safe and nurturing environment for 22 boys aged between 7-14 years. Most of these boys are orphans or come from single parent destitute families who are unable to take care and provide for them.
Our aim was to provide a safe environment for these boys and keep them off the streets and a life of crime. The boys at Inspiration are provided with remedial education and are in the process of being mainstreamed into the Habsiguda government school.
The project is supported by ProArch IT Solutions and aside from just housing and remedial education, the boys are provided with meals and amenities and undergo lifeskills, language and IT literacy programs.
The Home has garnered a lot of interest from the local community and is supported by many volunteers who regularly spend a lot of time with the boys teaching them various skills such as music, sports and arts & crafts.
The boys also get to celebrate birthdays and festivals with volunteers and their families, go out for picnics and corporate family days and participate in various community programs that teach them how to give back to those less fortunate than them.
Since its inception, the Home has successfully rehabilitated over 200 boys.
If you would like to celebrate your birthday or a festival with these kids or you are interested in being part of this initiative, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to talk to you!
